Identity comes before specification
Yuan Up, Atto 2 EV and Atto 2 DM-i names can appear in related searches while describing different market or powertrain configurations. The process begins with VIN, manufacturer plate, production date, original sales description and installed hardware. Only then are battery, motor, range, charging and equipment claims assigned to the candidate.
Official brochures are dated reference points. They do not prove that one vehicle contains every listed feature. When translation could hide a distinction, the original-market wording stays in the file beside an English explanation.
New and used evidence are different
A new-car route confirms production, sales status, version, export availability and warranty context. A used-car route adds mileage, repair history, battery enclosure, diagnostics, charge behavior, tyres, brakes, suspension, cabin electronics and service evidence. Neither route assumes that a clean photograph establishes condition.
An inspection states what was accessible, observed and tested at a particular time. It cannot guarantee future reliability, battery life or destination support. Open items remain visible rather than being converted into a broad condition grade.
Destination specialists own destination rules
China-side work can assemble identity, condition, cargo and commercial records. Customs classification, tax, registration, electrical installation and road approval remain destination-specific and can change. Buyers should use competent local advisers before treating an estimate as approval.
Commercial boundaries stay legible
Vehicle value, inspection, preparation, inland movement, freight, cargo protection and destination work are separate lines. The contract identifies the seller, exporter, beneficiary, VIN, documents and responsibilities. A webpage is not a stock guarantee, purchase contract or promise of registration.
Evidence follows the selected VIN
Photographs, diagnostic records, charging observations and quotations are useful only while they identify the same vehicle. If the candidate changes, identity, battery, condition and cost checks restart. This prevents evidence from a stronger vehicle being reused to support a weaker replacement.
The handover file keeps confirmed facts, seller statements and unresolved questions separate so the buyer and destination adviser can review the same boundary.
